Calvey's Restaurant Achill Island ’s number one authentic eating house is set in the idyllic village of Keel with commanding views of the Minaun Cliffs and Keel Beach. Our philosophy at Calvey's Restaurant is to use Irish, Local and Artisan food produce. We seek out the best and bring to you a genuine Irish food experience, a sence of place, so you know you really are on Achill Island.
You can dine with confidence in our Achill restaurant , knowing all our produce is certified from farm to fork. Our signature dish in the restaurant is Achill Island Organic Lamb which is supplied to us by Calvey’s Butchers.

We prepare fish straight from the Fishermans Net, offering you the likes of Fresh Plaice, Lemon Sole, Organic Clare Island Salmon, Achill Island Sea Trout, Monkfish and Cod. Charlie O'Malley takes us Sweet Keel Island Crab, Keembay Lobsters and along with Padraic Gannon's Clew Bay Mussels and Oysters these go someway to making up our Seafood Platter.
